Synthpop Fanatic is an independent music site dedicated to dark electronic pop and the artists shaping the scene today.
The site covers music found in goth-industrial clubs and festivals, including synthpop, darkwave, futurepop, EBM, and everything in between. Many of the artists featured on Synthpop Fanatic draw inspiration from ’80s pioneers such as Depeche Mode and New Order. While the site celebrates the genre’s legendary and influential artists, its primary focus is on discovering and spotlighting new music.
Coverage includes New Music Friday releases, music news, artist interviews, and occasional reviews and features.
New content is published several times a week, with additional coverage whenever time allows. On the final day of each month, Synthpop Fanatic counts down the 10 best tracks of the month, providing a snapshot of the artists, songs, and sounds currently making an impact on the scene.
